Depending on who you listen to, somewhere between 300 and 2,000 people showed up to support OK Rep Sally Kern (R-OKC), who has recently been under fire for comments she made about the homosexual agenda.
According to the A.P. report, it was about 1,000 people, and, “Kern was cheered Wednesday when she told the crowd that their support affirmed the rights of conservative Christians ‘who want to stand up for the truth of God’s word.’”
Kern was quoted in The Oklahoman:
This is not about me. It’s about the church having the right to speak out about the redeeming love of Jesus Christ Who died to set us all free from our sins.
