Thank goodness Channel 4 got a replacement with some backbone for poor ‘ol Burns. There was no way he could stand up to Talkin’ Turpin, The Mad Mouth from Muskogee. Watching Burns was like watching a shadow boxer, swinging at shadows and never connecting. I was tired of heading off to church after watching the severe beating of a helpless wit.
