“And lest we forget, there are no real leaders in the GOP in either Oklahoma or nationally. There is no figurehead to which we can turn and wrap our hearts and minds around at present. Senate President Pro Tem Glenn Coffee finds himself in a world of political hurt and though right now he is the John Gotti (Teflon Don) of Oklahoma politics and Coffee’s man man Fred Morgan (Sammy Gravano) are both damaged goods. House Speaker Chris Benge has the personality of wet grass and is clearly in the hip pocket of the insurance lobby. So who is left? The youngster, Ken Miller? Nope. State Senator Randy Brogdon? Hell no – Charlie Meadows has effectively taken Randy off the table as a viable leader.”

And you look to Ron Black as knowing what the political climate is in Oklahoma? Give me a break. Ron Black is SO 5 years ago. Try asking him just how many races he has “consulted” in (and I use the term very loosely) and actually WON!

The Coffee crooks are like the Goreites: let’s not talk about it. Bet his is the next fat rear to be somebody’s prison buddy.

This piece is done in the style of every other Ron Black piece, illogical full of Ad Hominem arguments meant only to cloud the issue with enraged hot air. Black’s failed attempts at humor, while loosely laced with facts, are further evident why he should stay out of the political circle and stick with hunting.
His attempt to draw a correlation between two felonious members of organized crime and two seated members of the State Senate is an outrage. Need I remind you that THOSE CRIMINALS were convicted whereas what President Pro Tem Coffee has done might look suspicious, he has not been convicted of anything, and in our society one is innocent until proven guilty.
His attacks on Senator Brogdon only paint a ‘guilt by association’ picture, he never once gives a reason why Senator Brogdon is not a viable leader for the State Senate. Instead he, ironically following the example set by pro-gay leftist liberal blogers (gossip boy), point only to his association with one questionable individual and then hopes that you will not look at the person as a whole. Why can’t Mr. Black look at the Senators record in the senate and then point out any flaws or disqualification from there?
And finally to Leah, you refer to the Capitol Enforcer as a ‘Coffee Crook’. Please tell me what law has that person broken and been convicted of? You attempt to equate them to ‘Goreits’ and then disregard what they have, quite legitimately, brought to the table. You then make crude and vial comments regarding an elected official. Please tell me, what LAW has the President Coffee broken that he would go to jail for? His tax issues have been settled with the IRS, so please tell me what you know and the rest of us don’t.
Logically,
The Logician

The Gorilla has really stepped over the line this time. To needlessly impune the names of two outstanding Americans like Randy Brogdon and Charlie Meadows is inexcusable. But then, the Gorilla has never been as conservative as he pretends. You remove Second Amendment Issues from the discussion, and there’s not a dime’s worth of difference between him and Richard Morrissette. He’s in favor of private sector subsidies, such as bringing the Seattle Losers to OKC or Bass Pro, and redistributionist scams like Nick’s Law. He’s good on the Right to Bear Arms, but not much else.
